Description 
MATERIALS:Mashru and cotton cloth, cotton threads. CONSTRUCTION: Knife pleated, waist band attached by machine stitching, machine stitched decoration, piping at lower edge. MOTIFS:Pattern of mashru is called kataria. COLOURS : Red , yellow, black and white. STYLE REMARKS: Cotton mashru was produced in specific patterns for specific purposes. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: This particular pattern was used by Kachhi Rabari as a skirt for brides, chorno for grooms and skirts for children. STYLE REMARKS: Production of cotton mashru in Mandvi area of Kachchh ended in mid 1990's. Today polyester replicas are made. Ghaghri, girl's skirt.
