Description 
MATERIALS: Cotton cloth, glass beads, cowries, tassels, mirrors, glass and ring. CONSTRUCTION: Hand stitched, three bead net, three bead net, three dimensional bead constructions. MOTIFS: Flowere made of cowrie with mirror in centre. COLOURS : Multicoloured. STYLE REMARKS: Beadwork is practiced in all three subgroups. Kachhi style is simpler, while Dhebaria tends to be more elaborate. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Worn on child's head sometimes over a hat. The circles are called 'Dhabak' and are said to avoid evil eye. Beaded circular amulets are also used in Central Asia. CULTURAL REMARKS: The bead ring was to attach a gold amulet into small braids of hair. Sometimes the tad was made on a leather base. The circular dhabak are also worn by jats, fixed on a leather strap. Similar ornaments are used in central Asia. Tad, Child's head ornament.
