MOTIFS: Gugri, mod, khambhir STYLE REMARKS: Kharek-one of pair antivalo (cross stitch). CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Worn above elbow between bracelets for modesty. CULTURAL REMARKS: The two sleeves are different, perhaps because one showed more. Today this garment has been discarded. Kothaliya, Woman's armbands. |
