Description MATERIALS: Cotton cloth.
CONSTRUCTION: Bandhani, chemical dyed.
MOTIFS: Simple line borders with centre divided into diagonal grid. Squares of grid are filled with circular motifs and divided into four squares.
COLOURS :Red and white on black.
STYLE REMARKS: Bandhani is used by many communities, particularly Ahirs. The red black and white combination is common to many communities.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: A girl brings this quilt of bandhani with two cashions in her dowry.
CULTURAL REMARKS: When quilt is made a red embroidered band is attached to borders.
