Description MATERIALS: Handloom cotton cloth called doublin.
CONSTRUCTION: Hand Block printed, resist dyed ,Chemical dyes possibly wax print..
MOTIFS: Trakandi.
COLOURS : Maroon with white.
STYLE REMARKS: Unusual formless shape, looks like splattering of paints.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Worn as underskirt by elders. Rabaris wear short underskirt under wool skirt, Kanbis wear full length skirt under sadlo.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Underskirts are always maroon with white and sometimes also black patterns. Since skirt wasn't plain.
