Description 
MATERIALS: Handloom, cotton cloth. CONSTRUCTION: Bandhani, tie and dye, vegetable dye. Three parts to be stitched together in one odhani. MOTIFS: Border has stars, diamond grid, field has four dots alternating with one dot with cirular medallion. COLOURS : Maroon with yellow dots. STYLE REMARKS: The four dots altenating with one dot is common. The triangular patterns of dots is called bharti. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Worn by Bhanusali community. This heavy maroon bandhani cloth was previously used for skirts and odhanis amoung many communities. CULTURAL REMARKS: Cloth is loom width. Use of three parts is unusual for odhanis. Traditional odhanis were made from heavy cloth. Odhani.
