Description 
MATERIALS: Cotton cloth, vegetable dyes. CONSTRUCTION: Hand block printed resist dyes, vegetable dyed. MOTIFS: Traditional Ajrakh motifs. Mada gulo, tinaro,ajrakh no buto,kungri, hanso and kharek kanawadi. COLOURS : Vegetable colours. STYLE REMARKS: Border patterns are traditional to Ajrakh. Field patterns are chosen one out of eighteen. Colours are also traditional. Borders and size of the piece depends on its use. Patterns are of Islamic derivation. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Used as either as lungi, turban or shoulder cloth. CULTURAL REMARKS: This is prepared to demonstrate processes of producing an Ajrakh step by step.
