Description MATERIALS: Mashru cloth, cotton cloth tassel, and strings.
CONSTRUCTION: Machine stitched and quilted. It has chotlo attached at back.
MOTIFS: Laher and chokdi.
COLOURS : Orange and green.
STYLE REMARKS: This particular hat is always done in orange and green.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: used by child when he is taken around the fire at Holi in the first year of his birth. Worn by a child during the first Holi after birth, whin he is carried around the by his grandfather. This cap has its Origins in Central Asia.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Style is similar to quilted hat used in central Asia.
