| MATERIALS: Mashru and cotton cloth (drill), silk and cotton threads, buttons, beads, tassels and cowrie replicas. CONSTRUCTION: Hand stitches, embroidered: square chain, cretan, buttonhole, buttonhole filling, romanian, interlaced, couched, running stitches, heavy beaded and tassel fringe added all over. MOTIFS: Limbudi tak, makodiyun, gol tak, phuldi, bandh kaanch, deri, ardho gotto, kangri and mokre. COLOURS : Multicoloured on green and scarlet.. STYLE REMARKS: Middle style of Dhebharia art. Stitching is very dense so as to be raised. Motifs are bold. Detailing is a speciality of Dhebharia work. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Used to carry paan, bidis,tobacco and mukhvas particularly during festival times. Generally used by men.
