Description 
|
MATERIALS: Silk and cotton cloth, cotton threads, buttons, brocades, string, tassels, beads, cowrie shells and mirrors.
CONSTRUCTION: Hand stitching, hand embroidered, square chain, interlacing, cretan, buttonhole filling, couched, detached chain and back stitch.
MOTIFS: Limbudi tak, makodiyun, mokre, gol tak, phuldi, vichhi, bandh kaanch, and kali tak.
COLOURS : Green body with red bandhni, multicoloured on maroon for borders.
STYLE REMARKS: Tight square chain which gives raised effect and dense work are characteristic of Dhebaria style. Also dense gathering of blouse and longer looser sleeves.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: The shirring at the bodice indicates that this is the festival blouse of a married woman. Dhebarias more often wore this embroidered border festival blouse than an all embroidered one.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Worn at festival time with a ghagharo and ludi.
