Description MATERIALS: Cotton cloth.
CONSTRUCTION: Woven, supplementary weft patterning and weft faced patterning.
MOTIFS: Checks, geometric patterns and stripes.
COLOURS : Black and white with red and yellow.
STYLE REMARKS: Red, Black, Yellow, white are typical Rabari colours. Weft faced patterning is also used in man's turban. Patterns are similar to those in khathi, katho, and ludi.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Wotn by young Kachhi Rabari man. Older man wear black and white.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Each subgroup has its own patterning. Dhebaria khes are white with black checks. Woven in Saurashtra. The name khes and style of weaving originally come from pakistan.
