Description 
MATERIALS: Cotton cloth, twill weave, cotton threads, buttons, sequins. CONSTRUCTION: Hand stitched , gathered with pleating, embroidered; square chain interlaced, detached chain and romanian stitches. MOTIFS: Minado, kabat, daanta, sudo and vichi. COLOURS : Multicoloured on white with red trim. STYLE REMARKS: Pictorial motifs were common on children's clothing. The bold elaborated square chain outline was popular in 70's and 80's. Mirrors are not used on kediya. Generally grown men's kediya use bakhiya, while boys' can use any embroidery. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Similar jackets are worn by all Rabaris. The style appears to have come from Rajasthan, where it is worn by many communities. CULTURAL REMARKS: Stylistic details very from community to community. Generally, young men wear kediya with denser gathers. This would be worn with a wrapped lower garment, pachhedi and a money belt. Jhuladi, Boy's jacket.
