Description 
MATERIALS: Wool cloth, cotton threads. CONSTRUCTION: Bandhni, Hand stitched embroidered; faggotting, interlaced, detached chain, and herringbone stitches. MOTIFS: Limbudi tak, chainni, bajoth, tran nako bawaliyun. COLOURS : Multicoloured black. STYLE REMARKS: The interlaced motifs are used in the corners of woolen veils and the bottom edges of woolen skirts. This prevails throughout Rabari subgroups. Different sizes and shapes of Interlacing have specefic names. CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Wool is a practical material for sheep harders. The use of wool for veils and skirts was reinforced by a legend that it is holy and traditional. CULTURAL REMARKS: Since the early 1980's, the woolen skirt has been replaced by cotton and then synthetic amonng Kachhis. More conservative Dhebarias and Vagadias still use wool. The skirt is a stitched tube that is tucked over a string tied at the waist and densely pleated in the front. Pachhedo, wool skirt.
