Description MATERIALS: Cotton cloth, mashru and silk cloth, cotton and silk threads, mirrors, tassels.
CONSTRUCTION: Machine stitches, embroidered; chain, cretan, interlaced, herringbone, detached chain and running stitches.
MOTIFS: Popti, makodiyun, tak bawaliyun, sudo, vano phul sudo.
COLOURS : Multicoloured on red and black.
STYLE REMARKS: Centre area is derieved from Mochi patterns but stylized. Each wall hanging and type of bag has presribed combination of background cloth. for wall hangings borders are generally on three sides.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: The use of this whole set implies a substantial home of square structure. The traditional round bhunga walls cannot hold so many pieces; only a toran is used.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Used in a set of seven The latkaniya are hung below the square chakla.
