Description MATERIALS: Synthetics and Cotton cloth, cotton threads , mirrors, jari, wooden stick.
CONSTRUCTION: Hand stitched, embroidered; chain, interlaced , cretan, buttonhole filling, herringbone and buttonhole.
MOTIFS: Popto, makodiyun, Kangri and Kungri.
COLOURS : Multicoloured on black, red with orange.
STYLE REMARKS: Embroidery is traditional.
CULTUIRAL SIGNIFICANCE: The fan relates to royalty. Used ceremonially during wedding rites. Rabari also used beaded fans Used among other communities who originated in Rajasthan.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Also made in beadwork. Seer-25. The Vinjhano went out of use by 1960.
