Description MATERIALS: Mushroo cloth, handloom cotton cloth, tassels and strings.
CONSTRUCTION: Panels are pieced together, hand stitched, lining is handprinted vegetable dyed.
MOTIFS: Outside striped and inside Jhamadi.
COLOURS : Blue and red outside and lining is yellow, red , black and white.
STYLE REMARKS: Style is used throughout Kutch and Gujarat. This is larger then most.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: This bag was generally used by groom during wedding ceremony to carry mukhvas and sweets.
CULTURAL REMARKS: Also called 'Pothu'.
